First Day, or two....

Well our first day in London is winding down (although we have been going for 30 hours straight, which I believe is longer then a day). The flight was good although sleeping was difficult.

Flight Highlights:
The people behind us are capable of talking for 10 hours straight.
It smelled like a fart every 15 minutes.
Our flamboyant gay Latino flight attendant was fun.
When Jacob asked how expensive a small bottle of red wine was the flight attendant said it sucked and went to first class and gave him some really good wine for freebies.
United Airlines flight 954 might be responsible for the Transatlantic spread of zombies.

We would have posted sooner but we were having trouble connecting to the internet. Looks like that has been rectified.

Since landing Jessica has only gotten lost once on the tube, but good thing shes an adult and quickly fixed that. Within 5 minutes of checking in Jacob blew the fuse for every wall socket in our room. A quick but guilty fix. Then we tried to take a nap, but apparently today was the day the fire brigade chose to test all the fire alarms at the Black Lion Pub and Guesthouse. We have a video... very loud. After that we took the tube to the Tower Bridge where we walked around for a good 5 hours and took some great photos. Despite the rough start I think we are adapting quite well here. Notes made: Cars drive on the left (look right for traffic), use the monopoly money with Charles Darwin on it and try not to adopt a English accent. It is now time to go downstairs and grab ourselves a pint of bitter.
